El Viento: One cool place, one hot destination

The pool bar of the Marco Polo Plaza reinvents itself as the al fresco destination for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine—El VIento Restaurant and Pool Bar.

Its new A la Carte menu serves Spanish, Greek and Italian dishes. The feature piece is a hand-made brick oven, fired by mango tree wood, where both authentic and innovative pizzas and other Mediterranean dishes are prepared. Risotto, gnocchi, hazel-encrusted salmon, and a wide variety of salads are also available.

El Viento is Spanish for wind, and surrounded by beautiful greenery, a swimming pool, and picturesque view of the city, this open air outlet is cooled by the naturally cool breeze of Nivel Hills that provides the perfect ambiance for those seeking an easy, relaxing evening.

El Viento Pool Bar and Restaurant serves dinner from 1800H to 2400H. The Pool Bar is open: 10.00H – 24.00H.

Lobby Lounge: Come up, wind down

Enjoy every night to the last drop at the Lobby Lounge of the Marco Polo Plaza. Relax to your choice of wine or beer during Happy Hour happening from 1900H – 21000H and get 2 glasses for the price of one. A wide array of hors d’oeuvres awaits as well, as you chill out to live jazz and R&B music.

BLU BAR & GRILL: We've taken dining to new heights

Literally . We’re not exagerating. Blu Bar & Grill is located at the Penthouse of the Marco Polo Plaza. That places it at just above 1,000 feet above sea level.

This means that while you’re dining on Australian lamb chops, New York steaks, king crabs or rock lobster, you’ll also be having your breath taken away with unmatched views of the City of Cebu, the Mactan Channel and beyond.
